He has not been silent
God has already been good to you.
A space to remember the good things God has done.
Free to use. No account needed to begin.
He answered. He provided. He spoke, and you knew it was Him. Then the week turned over, and by spring you could not have told anyone what He did.
Jesus did not leave His people to remember Him by willpower. He gave them bread, and a cup, and said do this in remembrance of Me. Remembering is something you do. Zikkaron is somewhere to do it.
No ads. No AI reading your prayers. It stays on your device.
One year of one altar
Yours starts with one
all began
How it works
Record, shape, remember
Record
Write it or speak it: one thing God did. A verse that found you, an answer, a moment you do not want to lose.
Shape
Give it a name and a stone, a shape, a color, a thread it belongs to. Takes a minute, and changes nothing about what it means.
Remember
Come back a year from now, or ten. The stones are still there, in order, arguing for a God who kept showing up.
Why this matters
Forgetting is venom to a relationship.
Relationships are built by remembering. Confidence is laid down the way a wall is: one recalled kindness at a time, until there is something solid under you when the weather turns.
He did it before. He has not changed toward me.
This app has one job. Remind you of His faithfulness, and help you remember that God is not silent.
Joshua 4:6–7
"What do these stones mean to you?"
Twelve stones out of the Jordan, piled where the children would see them and ask. The pile existed to start the conversation.
Psalm 103:2
"Forget not all His benefits."
Written as a command to one's own soul, which tells you how easily the soul does forget.
Luke 22:19
"Do this in remembrance of Me."
Jesus gave His church a physical, repeated act of remembering. Not a feeling. A thing you do.
i | The altar
A lifetime of them, piled in one place
Every stone is laid on one ground, in the order you laid it. It starts as a single rock on bare earth. A year in, it is a cairn you can stand in front of and read. Ten years in, it is the account of a life, the one thing you own that grows more valuable the longer you keep it.
ii | The stone
One thing God did, written down
Write it, or speak it and keep the recording. Later, never at the moment and never required, you may shape it: give it a name, a meaning, a silhouette, a material.
Three promises
What it keeps, and what it refuses
The Bible, bundled
Read it, and be linked back
The whole Bible sits on the device: book, chapter, reader, no network. Write Psalm 103:2 in a stone and the reference becomes a link. Open that chapter months later and the verse is marked, because a stone of yours rests on it.
Quiet Time
Shut the door and go to Him
"But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place." Whatever He says in that room can be laid down as a stone, and the stone remembers where it was given.
Guardrails
No streaks. No AI. No cloud.
What passes between you and God belongs to the two of you, so the altar stays on your device unless you deliberately turn sync on. Nothing counts you either: no badges, no scores, no one to be measured against, because a walk with God is not a contest.

Topic: what thread is this part of?
Nothing here is required. Nothing is unlocked by finishing it.
This one is only drawn on a page. The stones you place in the app are kept, dated, searchable, and laid on an altar that grows.

Frequently asked questions
Is Zikkaron free?
Yes. Nothing in the app is paywalled. If it stays worth keeping, people choose to support it themselves, but nothing is asked of you to use it.
Do I need an account?
No. Open it and start. An account exists only if you turn sync on yourself, to carry your altar between devices.
Does it work offline?
Yes, for everything you write, shape and read with the Bible built into the app. Choosing a different translation needs a connection the first time you open a chapter in it.
Does AI read my prayers?
No. Nothing here generates, suggests or paraphrases what you write. The app only holds it, exactly as you gave it.
What happens if I change phones?
Nothing, if sync is on: your altar is waiting on the new device. If it was never turned on, your stones stayed local to the old one, so turn sync on before you switch.
Which Bible translation is included?
The complete World English Bible, built in and readable with no connection at all. Choose another translation from inside the app and its text is fetched only when you ask for it.
Joshua 4:7
"And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever."
Psalm 103:2
"Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:"
Why the name
Zikkaron means memorial. Not a monument to a victory, but stones a father hands his children so the story keeps getting told.
Forgetting is not neutral, and Psalm 103:2 does not ask you to remember only the easy parts: forget not all His benefits. This is an app for exactly that: somewhere to lay a stone down before you forget.
Notes from the workshop
Watch it get built
Zikkaron is still being built, and the app itself is where that building happens in the open. Every update says what was just added, what is coming next, and what was deliberately left out and why.
Support the work
Keep it free, contribute yourself
Zikkaron holds no ads, sells nothing, and tracks no one. It stays that way because people decide it is worth keeping that way.
Write to me and you may well read your own idea in the next update, and use it in the app a month later.
